10 Things You Need To Know About Deadshot

8. His Death Wish

It€™s no secret that Deadshot is actually the Charles Bronson of the DC universe; the man has a death wish. Which, for a guy who leads a team called the Suicide Squad and keeps surviving means that he is either really bad at having a death wish or extremely unlucky. Or lucky. This is making my head hurt. After accidentally killing his beloved brother, Lawton developed an attitude about life that can only be described as €˜blah€™. His appetite for self-destruction stems from the death of his brother as Lawton is plagued by feelings of self-loathing and guilt. He killed the person he loved the most to save the person he hated the most. Joining the Suicide Squad was perfect for someone like Deadshot, as it allowed him to put himself in situations that would most likely end him. Still, the man is chasing a spectacular death and will not go down without a fight. If you want to take him out, you€™re going to have to work for it. He€™ll give you the ammunition to do so but you had better shoot straight. To get an idea of his unpredictable this makes him, look no further than Identity Crisis. Facing off against Green Lantern, Deadshot, trapped inside a light-construct box, knows that he€™s no match against a man wielding the most powerful weapon in the universe. Giving the sum total amount of zero f*cks, Lawton shoots at the construct, causing the bullet to ricochet and hit him in the neck, forcing Green Lantern to drop his guard so that Deadshot may shoot him.
