4. Wonder Woman
DC ComicsIf theres a hothead in the Justice League, itd probably be Wonder Woman. Trained in the art of war, possessed of a rigid sense of moral justice, gifted with the strength, speed, senses, and invulnerability of the gods, and never one to shy from a little bloodshed when its called for, the Amazonian princess is considered the analogue to Superman. Except Diana doesnt get all weak in the knees around glowing space rocks, and
magical lightning bolts from a jacked up man-child dont really faze her too much. Oh, and that sword she carries around that can carve the electrons off an atom, isnt just for show. Back before they became close allies, Wonder Woman even proposed hunting down the Bat, putting his head on a spike, and presenting it to the authorities when his unorthodox crime fighting tactics started throwing a bad light on the superhero community. Long story short, its probably not a good idea to test her no matter who you are, unless you want to get curb stomped straight to Hades.
DC ComicsOf course, Batman does just that in the 2002 storyline
Wonder Woman: The Hiketeia. When Diana participates in the hiketeia, an ancient Greek ritual of supplication and tragedy laced throughout the
Iliad, she finds herself honor bound to protect Danielle Wellys, a young woman whose sister was recently murdered by a group of Gotham drug dealers. But when Danielle pays back her sisters killers in kind, Bruce shows up only to have a difference of opinion with Diana. Bruce wants to take her in to face mans justice; Diana tells him to bugger off. Bruce, being the stubborn curmudgeon he is, doesnt listen and ends up with his cowl between her boot and the pavement. Bat-brain even tries to bait her by begging for mercy in the Hellenistic tradition (although I would too if it meant kissing Wonder Womans thigh). But Diana majorly pissed off by both his blatant cultural appropriation and the fact that she must choose between her sacred vow and the needs of justice literally kicks his butt to the curb. Loss: Batman.
