Of course Peter Parker is never going to kick the bucket permanently at least, so long as Marvel's printing presses are working but the ways he comes back are often as varied and interesting as the manner in which he dies. One of his most famous untimely, temporary demises occurred in the pages of Kraven's Last Hunt. A classic of the superhero comic form, the story sees Kraven a reasonably goofy OG Spider-Man villain who dresses like a lion and hunts both safari animals and costumed vigilantes go off the deep end, orchestrating his last great endeavour so that it ends in his own death. But before he sticks a shotgun in his mouth Kraven beats Spider-Man to a pulp, stabs him full of tranquillisers that stop his heart, buries him, and then runs around New York dressed in his costume. It looks like it's curtains for our Friendly Neighbourhood wall crawler...until he emerges from his coffin, several days later, the drugs having worn off.
