10 Times Superman Fought Other Superheroes (And Who Won)

Superman is seen as one of the Justice League's kindest and most level headed heroes. However, Superman is also known to allow his emotions to get the better of him. In these instances, few heroes are brave enough to try and stop him. Hawkman is one hero who attempted to subdue The Man of Steel when he lost control of himself.

In the Injustice: Gods Among Us story, Hawkman engages Superman in combat. After he is abandoned by his wife, Hawkwoman, the Thanagarian hero puts up a commendable effort, striking the Man of Steel several times with a Kryptonite laced mace.

Despite this impressive display of heroics, Hawkman is defeated. As he is burned to cinders by Superman's heat vision, Hawkman looks utterly humiliated and heartbroken.
