Of all the inter-franchise crossover events in all the world, you almost certainly never bothered to read DC Universe Vs He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe. Why would you? It's called DC Universe Vs He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe. The series did manage to get in some major character arcs along with all the toy adverts, though. Beginning with John Constantine hearing word that Skeletor has somehow gone from Eternia to Greenwich Village, the dubious crossover reaches its peak at the end of the second issue, where the Man Of Steel comes under the control of the bony, mystical villain. Because magic again! Cursed magic! Not knowing that he should maybe hold back from murdering a 75-year old cultural icon, He-Man throws caution the wind and ends his confrontation with the brainwashed Superman by stabbing him in the chest with his magic sword, killing him instantly. Well, until he immediately gets brought back in issue three.
