10 Times The Justice League Went Way Too Far

6. Crime Syndicate Of America

Superman Earth One
DC Comics

This alternative version of the iconic super-team is unique on this list as it is the only variation of the League that went far down the slippery slope of evil and abandoned all pretense of wanting to do good in the world.

The Crime Syndicate exists on Earth-3 in the greater DC multiverse, and is composed of villainous counterparts to the main Leaguers such as Ultraman, Owlman and Superwoman.

The Syndicate conquered their world and eventually grew bored with the relative ease of global domination. As a result, they sought out other worlds in the multiverse and eventually came into conflict with the Justice League of Earth-1 and the Justice Society of Earth-2, but never ever fully defeating their heroic counterparts and their allies.

The Syndicate is composed of sadistic and completely reprehensible beings who will stop at nothing to conquer and annihilate any world they come across. They also lack the relative coordination and mutual trust of the League, with members constantly undermining one another and in some cases killing each other - a clear sign of their cruelty and selfishness.
