6. The Dark Knight Strikes Again
It should be a rule that comic book listicle writers MUST receive a bonus in their next paycheck whenever they have to talk about The Dark Knight Strikes Again, because otherwise, it's just not worth it most of the time.
However, in terms of fights between Batman and Superman, this one did have some big shoes to fill, so it should be covered. It goes without saying that its predecessor is quite a ways further up on the list.
Anyway, Strikes Again follows up the legendary fight of its predecessor by having Superman invade the Batcave at the behest of the government, only to find Batman there waiting for him with a pair of Kryptonite gauntlets. No armor this time, which you would think would make this fight more one-sided, but with Bruce having wrapped his arms completely in Kryptonite for this fight, Superman can't do a lot but get knocked around.
The fight is the highlight of this infamous series, but if that isn't faint praise, I don't know what is.
