10 Villains Superman Has NEVER Defeated

Damage is the strongest comic character that nobody knows about - which can be put largely down to the fact that the 2018 run of the series managed to somehow fly below everyone's radar.

And this is entirely a waste, as the comic has some genuinely interesting moments - like when Superman finds the rampaging grey goliath and decides to fight him.

Though the Justice League manage to defeat Damage as a team, it's worth noting that when it's just DC's grey Hulk versus the Man of Steel, their fight appears to be a complete tie. Had Batman not come in for the assist - and had Deadman not possessed him at the right moment - there's a good chance the artificially created creature could have actually won against Supes.

As it is, Superman alone has never beaten the beast, and with Damage and his human alter ego since then trying to reform, it's likely he never will.

Either way, it might be worth picking up an issue of Damage, just to see if a character who can match strength with Superman might be something you can get into.
