9. Super-Language
This one almost seems kind of useful. The way it gets explained in the comics, his super intellect allows him to understand any language. Again, this seems like an insanely useful ability that should come up all the time considering he flies all over the world and spends a lot of time on other planets and in other dimensions.
The weird thing about this power is that it doesn't come up. Ever. His super-language ability has hardly been mentioned outside of once or twice. Out of all of Superman's strangely specific powers, this is one that would actually be helpful on more occasions than you could possibly count.
That being said, it might constantly be in use without mentioning it. Superman most likely used this skill to pick up Lori Lemaris in Supeman: Year One #2, which is what he uses most of his powers for.
