10 Worst Things DC Has Ever Done To Harley Quinn

1. Her Arkham Asylum Design

DC Comics

Harley Quinn's design in Batman: Arkham Asylum may as well have been bought from a costume shop the day before Halloween, because the whole thing has an element of rushing to put together an outfit last-minute. While this may sound cruel, Harley's design here is essentially half a nurse's outfit with a corset and leather thigh-highs, which just isn't the most original costume in comic history.

In all fairness, many of the Arkham designs have been critiqued for their mundaneness - such as Poison Ivy's 'costume' consisting of a half undone button-up shirt, or the Joker's infamously questionable Venom-form, which gave him a mohawk for reasons us mere mortals may never truly understand.

This in mind, Harley's design in the game is more indicative of a general weak point of the game than any specific choice regarding Quinn herself.

However, this doesn't change the fact that it's a pretty dull reimagining of a character who generally has some really interesting costumes.
