10 Worst Things Deadpool Has Ever Done

Few superheroes are more beloved than Peter Parker's Spiderman, and so one surefire way to establish your intentions when offering a new approach to Marvel Comics is to mercilessly kill him at point blank range.

In what was arguably the most disturbing and shocking act in the history of Marvel Comics, Deadpool began a vicious killing spree - the infamous Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe arc - which would see him battle and in some cases slaughter many of our beloved superhero pals.

During the opening sequence of the comic Wade is confronted by The Amazing Spider-Man. Peter Parker proceeds to reason with Deadpool, urging him to be a better person, a role model, and ultimately a better hero. Unfortunately for Petey, he doesn't get to finish his lovely speech and is abruptly shot at point blank range in the head.

Of course this story arc wasn't canon, but it's a gruesome and horrifying image that still leaves a terrible feeling in the stomach of so many comic book fans. Perhaps Deadpool choosing to end Spidey's life quickly and relatively painlessly was a callback to his bromance with the character, and perhaps he was fairly merciful after all... in his own twisted way.
