10 Worst Things Loki Has Ever Done To Thor
1. He Caused Ragnarok
Ever since he was born, Loki has been faced with the destiny of one day bringing about Ragnarok, the death of all Asgard.
Over the years, Loki has made many attempts to destroy Asgard, usually by freeing the fire demon Surtur. Most of his efforts were stopped by Thor, but eventually he succeeded.
After Odin died in another battle against Surtur, Thor became king of Asgard. However, his reign was short lived. Loki attacked with an army and a version of Mjolnir that he had built for himself. In the ensuing battle, many Asgardians died and Asgard itself was ruined.
Thor put up a strong defence, but then the Odinforce showed him the truth, this wasn't the first Ragnarok. The gods of Asgard were actually created by Those Who Sit Above In Shadow, a race of even more powerful gods who fed off the cycle of death and rebirth.
Refusing to let his people remain slaves, Thor killed Those Who Sit Above In Shadow and allowed Loki to complete his destiny, wiping out all the Asgardians. However, Thor did not allow Loki to go unpunished. He decapitated his brother and used magic to keep his head alive, forcing him to watch as Asgard fell around them.
Thor's plan failed though since editors are the real gods of the Marvel Universe and they decided to bring all the Asgardians back.
