4. Worked With Red Skull - Ultimate Avengers #6
It's understandable that Nick Fury would have to cross some lines that other heroes would be unwilling to in order to get the job done, that's just how it is in his line of work. However, "working with actual, literal nazis" should be considered off the table pretty much universally, as there are few - if any - scenarios where you can in any way justify that decision.
But then, this behavior tracks with Ultimate Nick Fury, seeing as how - like everyone else Mark Millar wrote in the Ultimate universe - Ultimate Fury was a belligerent, hateful, manipulative, close-minded blowhard. The kind of jerkface who would burn $100 bills in front of the homeless for kicks.
So it should have surprised no one, when Ultimate Avengers #6 revealed that Nick Fury lured Red Skull out of retirement and gave him the resources to wreak havoc again, simply because then dealing with him would get him his position at S.H.I.E.L.D. back.
The only thing keeping this entry from getting any higher is the fact that Fury at least cleans up his mess at the end of the storyline by having Red Skull shot in the head.
