10 Worst Things Reed Richards Has Ever Done

4. Built A Prison In The Negative Zone

Reed's biggest screw up in Civil War, by far, is his decision on what should be done with the superheroes who defy the registration act when they get caught by the government: lock them up in the Negative Zone.

Now, for obvious legal reasons, they couldn't use this plot point in the movie, but that was to the movie's benefit since - while The Raft looked like hell on Earth, at least those trapped within it weren't extradited to another plane of reality to be made prisoner by their own friends.

This downright fascist move by Reed has almost zero justification for it, since as Civil War so handily displayed, the Marvel universe ain't exactly hurting for places to put superpowered folks when they get too uppity, so why resort to trapping them in an extra-dimensional gulag at all, even barring the moral and ethical line crossing doing so entails?

But as genuinely horrible an act as this is, it pales in comparison to Reed's other big d*ck-move in Civil War.
