10 Worst Things Superman Has Ever Done

2. Having Sex On Lois Lane's Grave - Beyond The Reach Of Time

Sex on anyone's grave is a disgusting, disturbing, distasteful act to partake in. Making that infinitely worse, though, is having sex on the eternal resting site of your deceased wife; a resting site that is engraved with the words "Beloved wife of Clark Kent, Died while carrying their only child".

Yep, not just was Clark married to Lois Lane at this point in time, but Lois was also pregnant with the couple's first child.

In the Beyond the Reach of Time tale of The Adventures of Superman Annual #3, Lois dies just a handful of pages into the story, collapsing and dying alone at home due to a kick from her superpowered baby. Supes arrives on the scene just in time to hear his beau's final words - "I... love you" - and is left utterly distraught at this loss.

So much for "utterly distraught", mind, for Kal-El is flirting with the alien princess Maxima just six pages after we've seen the funeral of Lois Lane, and the pair would eventually hook up on Lois' gravesite.

Thankfully, this is all part of some 'what if?' future conjured up by Waverider as part of the larger Armageddon 2001 story.
