10 Worst Things That Ever Happened To Spider-Man

6. Watching All His Loved Ones Die (Again) - Dead No More: The Clone Conspiracy

Spider-Man Abrams
Marvel Comics

What's the only thing worse than watching the people you care about die? Watching them die twice, which is exactly what happens in the Clone Conspiracy storyline, wherein the mysterious Jackal seemingly manages to find a way to bring everyone who died in all the various goings-on of the Spider-Man franchise.

The infamous Parker luck clearly extends to friends and family, however, because they pretty much immediately start dying, and in completely gross fashion, shrivelling up as their body completely shuts down.

As such, Spider-Man's suffering here is two-fold, as not only is he having to witness a series of his nearest and dearest become human raisins, he also has to do so while mentally reliving how they died the first time, which is so, so much worse.
