In a story that is full of shocking moments it takes something a little different to stand out.

While investigating a snuff movie porn ring the Punisher deals out his usual brand of justice to all those involved. Pencils are jammed though eyeballs, throats are strangled with scarfs and one guy even has a toilet brush logged in his throat, but it isn't until the last few pages that it really steps up its game.

After making sure to kill everybody he comes across Frank is left in the building as the self destruct timer starts counting down with no obvious means of escape. This problem is made worse by the fact he's not alone, having saved a group of women who were being held as slaves.

So what do you do when you're about 40 floors away from safety? Well that's quite simple, you build a ladder out of the corpses you have handily laying around. With the window broken and the cadaver stairway lowered to the ground, everyone makes their way to freedom. The only hitch being when one of the rungs wakes up screaming (but a swift arrow to the face solves that problem).
