11 Comic Book Characters Who Died In 2019

3. Kid Loki

Bane Killing Alfred Pennyworth
Marvel Comics

Issue: Asgardians Of The Galaxy #7

Kid Loki came about back in 2010 as a result of the original Loki's untimely death during the "Siege" event. He kicked around the Marvel Universe for a little while, but eventually, everybody's favorite God of Mischief returned in his normal form, which complicated things a bit.

In the first issue of Marvel's newest godly series, Asgardians of the Galaxy, the Destroyer Armor was shown to be controlled by and protecting none other than Kid Loki. He joined the team, which consisted of Angela, Skurge The Executioner, Thunderstrike, Throg, and Valkyrie.

Kid Loki's time in the Marvel Universe came to an end in Asgardians of the Galaxy #7, but he wasn't killed like anyone else on this list. The poor little guy just ceased to be, and it was all a bit confusing. His existence didn't even end as a result of the events in the issue; rather, it was due to the reemergence of the original Loki.

In a panel, Angela finds Kid Loki hanging out in a tree, and he lets her know that he won't be able to remain a member of her team. His older self (original Loki) dismissed the spell that brought him into being in the first place, and he vanished from existence.
