12 Comic Book Heroes More Powerful Than Superman

5. Wally West

Superman Beat Up
DC Comics

Wally West gets harsh treatment from some comic book fans who seem intent on reducing him to That Guy Who Runs Really Fast. That couldn't be any more wrong and is a gross dilution of his powers. Sure, he's capable of uncharted superspeed, which comes with added bonuses like invisibility and being able to phase through objects by vibrating at their frequency (causing them to explode), and his connection to the Speed Force means he can recover from injuries super fast and can absorb kinetic energy on such a level that he has moved planet Earth before.

Beyond all that he can also time travel, is a genius and has above average strength (only one of which could really directly defeat Superman). And then of course there's the small matter of his Infinite Mass Punch, which happens when Wally West - the best of the Flashes and the most powerful - runs at top speed towards an enemy or object at faster than light speed, hitting them with the force of a dwarf star. Even Superman can't take that sort of force on his chin.
