12 Lego Sets Every Marvel Fan Needs
5. Spider-Man: Ghost Rider Team-Up (76058)
This 2016 set is pure fun, with particular emphasis on two of its three minifigs.
The Spider-Man minifig is nothing to crow about, but the other two, Ghost Rider and Hobgoblin, are available only in this set, which is too bad considering they’re such high-profile characters.
This set wasn’t an MCU tie-in, so like Spidey, the other two have a slightly cartoonish design. They look great anyway, and they split the difference between comic book and Lego aesthetics, so they’re well worth seeking out.
Ghost Rider’s motorcycle is the centerpiece of the set, but unfortunately, it’s much too comically oversized. That’s the scale Lego has to work with, and the Hobgoblin’s glider has the same problem. Minifigs just require disproportionate vehicles.
There’s a small side build of a street corner, which is a laugh for its Easter eggs, specifically newspaper boxes for the Daily Bugle and Front Line.
If any set is worth buying just for two minifigs, it’s this one, hands down.
