12 Most Dangerous X-Men

Rogue began her mutant career not as one of the X-Men, but as a child soldier of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Totally devoted to her adoptive mother Mystique, she had never known another life outside of, well, being an evil mutant. Professor X did eventually help to rehabilitate her and she joined the ranks of the X-Men, finally using her power-absorbing abilities for good.

This was not before she made a mighty enemy. You know someone must be dangerous when Captain Marvel, one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe, is afraid of them.

Rogue and Carol Danvers certainly have a chequered past together, what with Rogue being responsible for Danvers' complete lack of superpowers for a portion of the 1980s. Under Mystique's orders, Rogue attempted to ambush Danvers, who at that point called herself Ms. Marvel. However, she accidentally drained too much power from the hero, stripping her of not only her superpowers, but parts of her whole being. Ms. Marvel lost entire memories, and Rogue was haunted by aspects of her psyche for years to come.

It's no wonder then, that when the two faced off recently within the pages of Captain Marvel, the Captain had serious unresolved issues with the X-Man. Although everyone knows that Rogue has the ability to steal your powers, Captain Marvel knows that she has the potential to steal a whole lot more.
