2. Spider-Man And The Power Pack

powerpack Poor Peter Parker, the man just can€™t catch a break. In 1984 Spiderman teamed up with Marvel€™s premiere child soldier group the Power Pack to take on the scourge of child sex abuse in a one-shot PSA comic.
Wait, what? Yes, that happened. In the comic Spider-Man meets an abused young boy named Tony after one of his knock-around sessions interrupts Spidey while he€™s in the washroom experimenting with his web in strange ways.
Spider-Man decides to pay Tony a visit, and soon discovers the boy has been sexually abused by his babysitter. He opens up to Tony about his own experiences with a man named Skip when he was just a teenager himself.
Wait, what?!?! As it turns out Spider-Man was nearly molested by a creepy old man he grew to trust €“ which kind of seems like an important part of his back story, don€™t you think? I mean, the man dresses up in a blue and red unitard and tends to make bloody pulp out of people who try to take advantage of the innocent €“ don€™t you think that might have just a little something to do with the latent issues related to Skip€™s attempted seduction when he was a naive and vulnerable young boy?
