Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza may be best known for creating Deadpool, but they are also responsible for a bunch of really lame characters.

Since his introduction, Shatterstar has been relegated to the X-Force and has very little involvement with the other X-Men. His powers are the standard all-round enhancements we have seen time and time again. Considering he came from a different planet; it would have been nice to see some unique powers.

To make up for the lack of interesting abilities, Shatterstar was given a very interesting wardrobe. The man from Mojoworld was yet another example of nineties indulgence. The costume was the kind of thing you would expect a twelve-year-old who is really into karate to come up with.

Being a specialist in martial arts, Shatterstar was given the trademark ponytail and some cool swords. However, the rest of the outfit makes no sense at all.

Shoulder pads and capes may have been all the rage at the time, but the cape and single shoulder combination makes him look ridiculous. Then there’s that headgear, which somehow looked even worse when he made an appearance in Deadpool 2.
