Who knows. Inexplicable. Beyond belief. This is a thing that was actually written, drawn, inked, coloured, lettered, and published.

At least Hansi seems happy about it (it's actually a comic adaptation of a memoir by a young woman who lived through Nazi occupation and became a born-again Christian teacher in the midwest, but context spoils it a bit).
