2. Be Prepared To Queue

That's presuming, of course, that you actually made it through the process of queuing up for the panel beforehand. If San Diego Comic Con is known for anything, it's...well, it's for all the amazing announcements and cool swag people come back with. But apart from that, it's known for the ludicrously long lines. For the big panels you can expect to get there 2 and a half hours early in order to safely secure your spot. We know, it's ridiculous, you're right, but that's just the way things work and unless you're going to lead some sort of SDCC resistance that's not going to change anytime soon. And we recommend not forming a splinter group until at least your third or fourth time going. You need to be properly prepared to queue. This is another reason why it's good to make sure you're well stocked with food and drink, because once you start lining up, you can't really leave without losing your place. Also good to go to the bathroom beforehand. Might be a good chance, if you're near an outlet, to charge up all your electronic devices, since you're not going to be moving from them much. It's also worth bringing along something to keep you entertained whilst you stand around (or sit, if you're smart) waiting to watch Joss Whedon show off about how good his life is.
