What helps in getting around the horribly congested convention centre is knowing where you're going. Not only getting your bearings but also having an idea of what you're doing every day, because you will be totally overwhelmed by choices and will end up paralysed, unable to make a decision, bothering all the people who do know where they're going and are trying to get past you and your ridiculous backpack. We're saying that it's probably good to make an itinerary of the panels you want to go to, and to stick to it. You're gonna have to be realistic, however. At the most you should aim to go to three big events, tops, because you honestly won't have time for anything else. Accounting for the time you'll spend navigating the crowds, finding the rooms the panels are taking place in and the hours you'll spend queuing beforehand, it's unlikely you'll manage anything else. To avoid disappointment just go for the stuff you're really into, and spend what spare time you have wandering around the crazy geek circus that is San Diego Comic Con.
