15 Fantastic Four Villains Who Could Be The Next Big Bad Of The MCU

While it would sure be awesome to see Days of Future Past given a go in the MCU, it's unlikely that Kevin Feige would run with that story in the near future. Thankfully, there's another time-hopping tale that would pair wonderfully with the arrival of the Fantastic Four...

Days of Future Present.

In short, Franklin Richards, the son of Reed and Susan Richards, from the future returns to present day in a disoriented state. His ability to warp time and reality causes chaos, the arrival of a Ahab, a mutant hunter from the future, doesn't help matters. Eventually, he gives up his own life force to save his younger self.

If the Fantastic Four are introduced as an established team, Reed and Sue may very well become pregnant with Franklin in the near future. Having a future Franklin appear and cause monumental problems, only revealing his identity later int the saga, would place heroes in a dire predicament.

War Machine was already prepared to go back in time and eliminate baby Thanos to save the future. If he and the new Avengers feel that young Franklin will only threaten the future, future Franklin could be the catalyst for a FF/Avengers war.
