15 Greatest Amazing Spider-Man Covers

In the three-hundredth issue of The Amazing Spider-Man, which featured Spidey's first battle against Venom, we see a peculiar, yet incredibly eye-catching image of Spider-Man in his own version of the black suit swinging through the city of New York.

This image only occupies the center of the cover, however, as it is surrounded by the number 300 written dozens of times. And the way Spidey's webs and limbs come out of the center image's frame make for a nice three-dimensional look.
