Back in the early-to-mid '80s, the Hobgoblin was basically the go-to Spider-Man villain for awesome covers. And arguably the best came in The Amazing Spider-Man #238, the cover of which features a menacing shot of the villain as he rips Spidey's suit in half like a sheet of paper.

The 'Goblin's glare is powerful enough, but despite the fact that the Spidey's suit is empty, you can almost make out a distressed look in its eyes, which makes the whole thing look even more chilling.
