He may not be the most well known villain included here, but Korvac is still one of the Marvel Universe's most powerful. A complicated origin story saw the computer programmer Michael Korvac transformed into a cyborg who was exposed to the Power Cosmic, leaving him with the ability to reshape reality and making him near invincible as he set out to enact a plan which would transform Earth into his own utopia. Both The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy had something to say about that, and after his plan was foiled by Earth's Mightiest Heroes, he set out on a path of destruction through the universe which only came to an end after he had wiped out The Avengers. He thankfully saw the error of his ways after falling in love with The Collector's daughter and returned them to life, but the team was shaken to its very core.
