There have been a couple of different versions of Baron Zemo, but regardless of who has been beneath the mask, this is one Captain America villain who has consistently made it his goal to punish The Avengers. The founder of the Masters of Evil, Zemo also put together the Thunderbolts, a team of villains who posed as heroes to take advantage of the people of Earth after their real heroes were believed to have died. In recent years, Zemo even set his sights on the teenagers who were once part of Avengers Academy, embarking on a plan he hoped would lead to them joining him to take down the current generation of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Vindictive and evil to his core, Zemo may have sporadically shown signs of being a hero over the years, but make no mistake about it; he's one of the team's greatest and most deadly foes.
