6. Anti-Monitor

Even if you're not a longtime reader of DC's comics, chances are that you will have heard of their game changing "Crisis" events. Well, where you have one of those, this guy isn't far behind. While he's definitely a Justice League villain, he's also a foe to pretty much the entire DC Universe and countless other worlds besides, most of which he was responsible for destroying at one point (leaving only two left).

Almost infinitely powerful, it usually takes the Justice Leagues of several worlds to stop him, and even then the Anti-Monitor always seems to find a way to return. Most recently he's shown off his incredible might by killing Darkseid in the heat of battle, while it's also worth noting that he's previously been responsible for the deaths of both Supergirl and the Barry Allen version of The Flash. He looks silly, but is not to be trifled with!
