Ever been in one room, but wanted to be in another room? "If only", you thought, "I had the power to just transport myself to the fridge for another beer, but I have to use my stupid legs to stupid walk into the stupid kitchen". Not such a problem for those around Doorman. Another member of the Great Lake Avengers, Doorman was a mutant able to teleport anywhere he wanted to - provided that anywhere was the adjoining room. His own body became a 'door', allowing others to pass through him. Doorman's powers pale in comparison to the doormen we know and love: they can prevent a person entering a building based solely on their footwear with the uttering of the immortal phrase: "try somewhere else, please." Doorman did eventually become kind of cool, serving as an Angel of Death to Oblivion, but he will always be the superhero whose only power was to act as a makeshift door.
