They are ubiquitous. You cannot go to Comic-Con without seeing some scantily clad women walking around the convention floor. They are dressed as female versions of male superheroes, or are donning the costumes of the few heroines on screen. Many of the photographs taken by the previous entry will be focused around these girls, and the effort that goes into these costumes is absolutely phenomenal. Turning a male costume into a costume for a woman takes innovation, skill and time. This investment should be applauded, and it opens up the opportunities for ladies to dress up, considering the industry is not exactly flooded with female characters. It is certain that you will see Cosplay Girls at Comic-Con. Some may make you feel uncomfortable due to their skimpy costumes; others will impress you through their likeness to comic characters. This is not confined to comic characters; anime, manga and steampunk are all subcategories within this. The variety of costumes will surprise you, and you will in all likelihood be awestruck by the quality, quantity and creativity that has been invested in these costumes. What did you think? Will you be going to a Comic-Con soon? Did we miss anyone? Let us know in the comments below.
