The previous point touched upon this, but you will always spot some incredible costumes. These are costumes that people have spent vast amounts of time and effort producing. There will often be a collection of Judge Dredd costumes being worn. These costumes are professional quality, and you should be prepared for some amazing sights if this is the first Comic-Con that you go to. These people may be entering competitions, or they may just be indulging in a bit of fun. Either way, we appreciate these costumes, as they add to the great atmosphere of Comic-Con. Whether these people have been inspired by movies, comics, anime or a game does not matter. Part of the appeal of Comic-Con is surrounding yourself in the comic book world, and these costumes will help you to accomplish this. What would Comic-Con be without all the fans dressed as superheroes, anime characters or games? It would not feel like Comic-Con at all, it would simply be a hyped up comic book shop. It is the people in costume that makes Comic-Con such a memorable experience.
