The comics audience demographics are almost 50-50 male-female at this point, and female-led titles, once challenging to sell, have done gangbusters in both print and digital sales recently, selling well to men and women. Ms. Marvel is the top digital seller of 2014 and the female-led Thor sold over 200,000 copies. Alonso credits the entire emergence of "All-New, All-Different" Marvel to this trend, so it's a safe bet that the announced 50-60 new #1s will include more female leads than ever, although most are already part of its publishing schedule.
