In The Golden Age by James Robinson and Paul Smith, Hitler again managed to get his brain transferred, but this time it was into the body of the most powerful American superhero anyone had ever seen. He nearly fooled the world about his true nature, and when he was exposed, it took the entire superhero community to bring him down. The triumph, and its cost, marked the end of the "golden age" of adventuring.
