There are quite a few villains who serve as an evil counterpart to their heroes, but none do it better than Venom. The vengeance obsessed dark Spider-Man almost instantly became a classic part of Spidey's rogues gallery and has been around pretty consistently since his first appearance.

While Spider-Man's jilted symbiote has had many hosts over the years, the best is still the original, the discredited journalist Eddie Brock.
