Before he was best known for a stint in I'm A Celebrity and tall tales about a friendship with Michael Jackson, Uri Geller was widely recognised as one of the world's leading "Mentalists". His popularity turned the spoon bender into a household name, and he unbelievably ended up guest starring in an issue of Daredevil to assist the hero in foiling a criminal plot. Stan Lee and Marvel had made a deal with Geller to appear in one of their comics, but when push came to shove, no one wanted to write a story starring the controversial and rather ridiculous psychic. As a result, then Marvel Editor-in-Chief and Daredevil writer decided to take on the responsibility, and thus, this bizarre and unusual tale was born (and forgotten).
