If you thought that Batman was one of those heroes who was created with his now iconic appearance, you would be right. Like many heroes, it's undergone some big changes as the years have passed, but that basic look of what everyone now knows to be Batman was there. However, Bob Kane's original idea was drastically different as you can see above. Despite the bat-like wings, the blond hair, domino mask, and bright red outfit are all a far cry from the gothic superhero Bruce Wayne would become, and it's hard to imagine this version of "The Batman" having the same sort of longevity as the one ultimately introduced.
