When Marvel and DC Comics combined their worlds to create mashup versions of their heroes, some were more inspired than others. Orion is a member of the New Gods and a fan-favourite character, but was there no one more worthy for Thor to be mixed together with? Either way, the end result was Thorion, the son of Odin the Highfather, and wielder of the astro-force. Asgard became New Asgod, and his main foe was Thanoseid (which in case you can't figure it out is a combination of Thanos and Darkseid). Artist John Romita Jr. did a great job of bringing him to life, but Thorion ultimately felt uninspired and a bit lazy.
