Milo Manara is known for his soft-core erotica; that is his artistic style and genre. Therefore, when it came out that Marvel hired him to produce a variant cover for Spider-Woman #1, many fans were not particularly happy. Crouched in an awkward sexualised position, Spider-Woman has her bum in the air, as if she were a baboon ready to mate. Frankly, Marvel made a really stupid decision hiring Manara to draw this cover, as Spider-Woman was pitched as a female friendly book, written so that everyone could enjoy it. Needless to say, Marvel caught some crap from their feminist readers for this blatant example of sexism.
Since childhood, Bryant has been an avid fan of superheroes, and he has been reading comic books since 2006. His full name is "George Bryant Lucas"; however, after enduring countless Darth Vader jokes, he has chosen to go by his middle name. Born and raised in the United States, Bryant is currently living with his lovely wife in the country side of Wiltshire County, UK. Bryant does suffer from a mild case of dyslexia; misspellings and homonyms are to be expected on occasion.
