Just like in the aforementioned reminiscing, this image shows another time that Deadpool refers back to his previous adventures. This is even more ingeniously self-conscious, as it employs an asterisk format (still using the yellow boxes though!) to actually name the issues in which those stories occurred. Only in Deadpool comics could such transparent references to actual numbered issues be mentioned and actually seem totally normal.
