Perhaps even more popular than Deadpool Kills Deadpool was the series Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe. Possibly the most twisted storyline in Marvel's history, a rather less likeable Deadpool sets about taking out all of the major players in Marvel's universe. He does it quickly and efficiently, with no lengthy epic battles. He just kills them, brutally. He even goes after Marvel's writers and illustrators at the story's conclusion. It seems crazy that Marvel agreed to this storyline, but it is truly an excellent plot. It was even followed up with Deadpool Illustrated, in which Deadpool moves on to executing the most famous characters in literary history.
