5 Comic Book Candidates Who'd Make Good Presidents & 5 Who Wouldn't

1. Batman

Batman would have a plan against everyone. No country would stand a chance against our defense. It's probable that he would solve the nuclear crisis in two days, tops. But the fact that Batman is so paranoid is his greatest deterrent to being president. Because that kind of shifty paranoia isn't the most appealing thing to allied nations. That, with the combined fact that Bruce Wayne goes about his problems violently caving in the skulls of miscreants that don't abide to his laws, probably wouldn't bode well for voters. Batman's got enough on his plate defending Gotham. Would I like to see what he can do with the entire country of the United States? Yes. But from a distance. Like, once I'm in the afterlife. That kind of distance.

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
