5 Reasons Why Batman Is Really A Bad Guy

2. Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right

batman-under-the-red-hood-review-5 The justification for Batman seems to be that he is needed to tackle the escalated bad guys in Gotham. We all know Batman is a little crazy but he helps to deter villains like the Joker and Two Face. But honestly, I am not buying it. Two wrongs don't make a right for me and simply supporting Batman because he isn't "as bad as the Joker" just isn't going to fly. Sitting in a nest of fire ants isn't as bad as setting yourself on fire sure, but why should I have to do either? Batman is clearly the catalyst for so much escalation in Gotham that it seems rather silly to support him. If he simply moved to a less densely populated country town, it is probably likely that much of the crime would follow him. The response to the Joker shouldn't be sending a rich, insane, grief stricken schizophrenic genius dressed as a Bat after him. There are surely more level headed ways to deal with that problem.
