Spider-Man: 5 Theories About The Future Of Doc Ock
3. New Body
So far the theories mentioned have had major issues regarding story limitations, so what about a new body swap? We've already seen that Ock has no problem with invading a host and taking their mind hostage, so why can't he do it again? Obviously, Otto wouldn't settle for just anybody, he chose Peter Parker for a reason, but that's not to say he doesn't have a list of other adversaries that he deems beneath him. I picture this story following on from the previous suggestion made, with Spider-Man having to battle Doc Ock's out-of-body experience leading to him having to figure out who Ock has taken control of and how to get him out of there as Otto jumps between different hosts. We've already seen Norman Osborn take on a new identity so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to reinvent other classic villains too.
