Spider-Man: 5 Theories About The Future Of Doc Ock

4. No Body

Though not as active as his usual challenges, Peter Parker spent much of The Superior Spider-Man theory floating around in a sort of ghost/consciousness state trying to move Doc Ock's hand while he slept. There's no reason that we can think of as to why the same thing wouldn't have happened to Otto. If this were to happen, the first big question would be which route he would take; good or evil and I'd wager that it would be evil. Be it out of anger at watching Peter Parker break Anna Maria's heart, at annoyance at being trapped in his purgatory-like state, whatever it is having Ock return to his villainous roots just makes more sense. Imagine the arc where Spider-Man is trying to battle a Doc Ock who he can't touch or see €“ it would be like putting Peter Parker in the middle of Poltergeist. The problem with this theory is the longevity, there's only so many stories you can do with that. However, paired with my next theory you've got a lifetime of ideas...
