7 Additional Characters From Guardians Of The Galaxy Comics That Need To Be Part Of Future Movies

7. Kang The Conqueror

A Silver Age creation from the great Stan Lee/Jack Kirby, Marvel€™s Avengers movie franchise could very easily stake a claim to this time traveling world conqueror, but he has some shared history with the Guardians of the Galaxy, making him a worthwhile choice as a future villain for the series. In the Dan Abnett/Andy Lanning run on Guardians, Kang actually arrives to lend Star-Lord and his crew a hand after the team survives a space-time tear referred to as the Fault. Kang warns the team of the imminent threat posed to them by one of their teammates, Adam Warlock, who has been consumed by his evil dark self, Magus. Thinking bigger, using a supervillain whose powers include the ability to traverse the cosmos€™s various timelines, as the prime adversary for a super-team that has appointed itself the defenders of the universe and all of its timelines, just makes too much sense not to give it a whirl on the big screen.
