8 Cancelled Marvel Legacy Series That The Fans Will Miss

4. She-Hulk

Dating back to the beginning of the eighties, She-Hulk came about after a blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner, caused the same kind of Hulk transformation in her; albeit one a lot easier to tame. What fans loved about her was her confidence and strength, which is why they may be slightly bemused by the decision for her individual series to be cut short.

After all, all things said and done she’s more popular than Carol Danvers and her series is still going. Despite having her own solo film coming in 2018 you must remember that during ‘House of M’ Danvers’ ‘best reality ever’ was her being popular when she’s not in the slightest so, yeah, Jennifer Walters fans must be perplexed.

Either way she’s had a damn good run. Mariko Tamaki and Jahnoy Lindsay have been behind the helm, yet Issue #163 is where She-Hulk's road comes to an end. Still, there’s plenty of Hulk-esque smashing to be had. She’s been green, she’s been grey, and now she’s cancelled. And in what manner does she bow out? At the end of a story arc named ‘Jen Walters Must Die’. Yeesh.

She’s tackling one of The Hulk’s biggest enemies though, i.e. The Master, so props to her for taking that guy down. As previous points hinted though she’s a fan favourite (more so than Betty Ross’ ‘Red Hulk’ that is) so she’ll definitely still be around, but it seems like a shame to leave a strong, female protagonist in the dust.
